I have 9 BBC under a 400w MH. The MH is about 120cm away.

2 are showing yellow spots.

i get this all the time, never knowing what it really is, i just let the plant grow through it (they always do ).

Ive returned the light to about 130cm away. When should I lower it?

They about 7 days old now, when would you go 18/6?

I'd go 12/12 when there at least a foot

20/4 seems to be the fav in these parts and appears to stop em stretching too much

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with 18/6, but a while back OT experimented and found that vegging 20/4 gave better results.

It's by no means a hard and fast rule though.

Ive just moved from NFT, where I completed one grow and are finnishing the other in ym flower tent.

First time in soil and ive upped the numbers. Now have 9 in the 60x60cm veg tent. They will go into the 1 metre sq flower tent when ready.

So you reckon a foot will be good to fit them all in the big one? ...they will be under a 600w HPS.

Don't bring the light down in one go.
Bring it down bit by bit over the next few days.
