Anyone have any tips on keeping mums in coco?

Ive just switched to coco and have a few strains in compost Id like to hold on to,

I understand about keeping them in small pots in compo and trimming back the roots and giving them fresh compost now & again,

So whats the script using coco..can I trim back roots all be it more often I guess,

Whats the best size pot to keep them in? Too hand ive got 1.4 3.5 6.5 & 11 litre

Do i just feed as normal when in veg and ph the water.

I keep my bonsai mums in 3.6l pots and they do great in coco. Need to water every other day though, so you might want bigger pots just to make life easier.

Watering aint a problem mate daily or otherwise!

So what about these fast growing roots? Can I just pop them out their pot & trim every so often?

I haven't needed to trim roots on my oldest mum which is about 12-18 months old. When you take cuts, or top, or basically trim back a bonsai mum, the plant only grows roots that it needs to support the upper growth....so roots tend to slow down (in my experience) and don't rootbind the pot. I keep my mums in a small clonebox so they have to stay short too, so I'm constantly cutting them back and the roots don't explode.
