hey guys im new to uk420 and first time grower i have set up a small grow room and i am 7ish days from flowering. i have yet to buy a CF and have looked at many DIY designs. however i live in a residentual area and the smell will be a problem.

i have 4 plants, 2 Strawberry sweettooth and 2 generals daughter in a pretty tight area ( 25ltr pots) . they will be under a 600 watt in a week or so when i put them to flower. Will a diy CF be upto the job? or should i put my hand in my shallow pockets and invest in a rhino 4" fan/filtre( would that even be sufficent)

so diy or not?

thanks

Hey, I'm using a 100mm fan/filter but only cos I got a 400w cooltube, I doubt a 100mm extractor would be powerfull enough for a 600w ? unsure.gif all I know is when they go into flower, their gonna stink. As for a DIY carbon filter, you still have to buy all the bits. I'm guessing a 125mm L1 ruck/ carbon filter would do wink.gif and damn, 25ltr pots ! theys huge!

I personaly would invest in a decent phat filter or summat,...a good two years use there at least,..i mean who uses there carbon filter right thru veg too,..bit of a waste if ya ask me....oh im startin on one..il leave it there..GET A FILTER bro. yinyang.gif

oh...ps....e2a....i found a 150mm extraction min ness for my 600watter to keep temps steady.with 125mm rvk on intake.
