hey guys.

Semi New to growing but a long time toker, here by recommendation of good friend (Bish/Bomshiva) w/e he know as here .

Anyway sick of smoking the garbage that's been about in UK the last 6 month and decided to grow my own got 2 diff strains on the go and 1 weekish till 1 put them to flower.

Cuttings from a good friend and one of his own breeds I believe , 2 Strawberry sweettooth and 2Gen's Daughter both untasted by me. so far so can't wait till crop. Anyway ill try post a first grow diary later.

BTW anyone know if these DIY carbon filters worth a go or stick to Rhino filtres? (600 watt 4 plants 25 ltrs plagron batmix+Bio bloom and grow and its pretty tight spot)

As for DIY CF's I don't know. My own personal view is that I would always buy the absolute best CF I can possibly afford. I even rate Fans/CF's as a higher priority than the light. I would never flower cannabis without a Cf I could trust

surf the DIY forums and maybe message some of the usual suspects in there as there DIY kit can be very effective e.g. I got inspiration from Leepy's posts on how to quieten my fans. I think Blab has a lot of good posts on DIY filters, fans and micro-grows. He's the man to talk to.

Hi dude and welcome..

Imo a decent CF is a must. I did a grow with out and the smell outside my house was so bad dude it gave me sleepless nights for a while..Rhino's are well worth the money imo.

Welcome Youngbud,i'd recommend the Rhino filters as the cheaper ones are false economy really and as your extraction is the most important factor in growing you should always get the best you can afford.
On the other hand a £30 budget CF will definately last you the one grow at least but like i said i the Rhino/Phat filter will last a lot longer.
