I'm no expert on hydro as i'm a compost man but....

when you grow in compost you gradually increase the nute doses as you go (well i do or i tend to find its too much too soon for a young plant) i would imagine hydro is the same.

Aye, just back off the dose for a week or so and see if the situation changes, if it starts to get better, then you know your bob on the money

i reckon it'll solve your probs smile.gif

i would flush with just ph balanced water for a week then set your ec at 1.0 and read your ec meter and let the plants tell you what they need!
good luck mate.
highgrade
what system & grow media are you using & whats teh background cf of your water supply beofre adding nutrients?

if your plants are not very big I would be using a mix of between 10cf -14cf depending on background cf of the water supply & size of plants

e2a: just realised you are reading in ec so 10-14 cf would be 1.0 to 1.4 in ec

Just wondering why you'd want to do that..? g.gif

I'd go with this, but don't bother flushing, not necessary.... once I started reading my res it was one of those eureka moments smile.gif plants do much better underfed than overfed In my experience, so go low then raise it when needed wink1.gif

I agree with this.
Would not flush unless I had SERIOUS nute burn and then only overnight.
Work up gradually using the info your plants give.
When I increase ec I wait 2-3 days before going higher again. This gives plants time to tell me how they like first increase.

Like the Prawnster says-Learn to read rez.
