YO, does any one know if its easier to use single autopots, say 8 all individual, or use a header tank to fill them.
the ones im looking at are the hydrogarden ones, singles. just looking for an easy alternative rather then trying to mix a 47l tank every week, any advice thanks

thats what im asking, i would find it hard to carry that tank in and out of my grow tent??

iv used the autopots on numerous gows mate.
trust me when i say "USE THE RES" i reckon for 8 singles your gonne be needing a 100ltr res (same as me)
a 100ltr res lasts 7 days when your girls hit take off

also it is important you put an airstone or better still a pump in the res

put a couple of inches of pebbles at the bottom of each pot and fill to the top with coco

ph 5.8 throughout

there really isnt an easier system to use on the market with some excellent results in the 15 ltr pots

Then don't cart the huge rez about - come up with something involving maybe a length of hose and a pump and leave the rez in the tent.

thanks for the advice, gona try them out i think for ease of use, do the babies still grow same rate as any other system?

to my knowledge you will probably get better results in DWC or aeroponics, but for a hell of a lot more messing about and pretty much tied to your plants daily

but for wot they are mate there spot on

i litrally fill my res once a week, put the nutes in set the ph and theres nothing to do untill 7 days later

if its ease of use your after you really dont get any easier

they seem to perform really really well wih coco!

minority i cant pm you for some reason, either way it seems great your advice, one main thing!!! the big res yeh once its filled does the ph and ec go up and down daily. for example my mate is using a gro tank similar to what i mite start using to. that nft technique, the water runs back in and is reused, so the ph and ec can change in that all the time. long message here, so to the point do i have to check the big res daily like in a gro tank....

nope, ime, i fill it, check it, test it again a day later, and usually have to adjust down again slightly, then that's it till it's time to fill the res again a week or so later
