Hi,

I've got a few Salvia Divinorum growing outside
and could do with some help.

IMHO it's been a far harder grow than any weed
I've grown in the past.

Are there any growing of this divine plant here?

Oh my god, isn't she fussy??? I totally agree, Salvia is much harder to cultivate than cannabis!

I can offer a few tips from my experiences smile.gif

1. She loves humidity, absolutely loves it. Favourite place out of all the places I put mine? The bathroom!! Oh man, she loves it there.
2. Don't top her!!! Salvia will naturally develop additional shoots, but those hollow stems do not like to be cut! excl.gif
3. Don't repot her too much, because she doesn't seem to like that either!
4. She seems to prefer somewhat muted light to direct sunlight - again, bathroom! If you have glass with swirly patterns and stuff in yours, that seems to be perfect for diffusing the light somewhat.
5. Just dry out and smoke the leaves that drop naturally, don't bother harvesting! You will still get the effects and she doesn't like being cut.

Nice spot in a warm-ish bathroom seems to be absolutely ideal. Mine grew to ummm 5ft? and absolutely loved it there

Till the fucking spider mites ate her! sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif cry.gif

By the way I absolutely love smoking salvia that's been homegrown! It's a much more natural and pleasant experience than extract! Well worth the hassle, and she even seems to communicate with you after a while... beautiful plant, absolutely beautiful.

Thank you enormously, Eri!

Just the ticket!

The mrs doesn't want the plant in the bathroom -

or any windowsill -

any ideas for tent environment?

Thanks for your time!

There was a great tent salvia grow on here before... i'll try and dig it out!

Here you go man, Magic was great at it! Not sure if he's still around, but if you have any problems he is definitely the one to go to.

I don't think he's still around sad.gif
