Hi guys,

I have just finished my grow room and about to set up both fans. I have two rvk L1 250mm fans and 25m of accustic ducting. The distance from the grow room and ventilation exit is 7m, so I thought of placing both fans inside the grow room and running ducting from them 7m to the exit. Does this sound like it will work, or is there another better way?

It'll be fine, you will lose some efficiency, but overall it should be ok.

I use about 7m of flexible acoustic ducting and it manages to suck the sides of my budbox large in using negative pressure.

Would it be better to place the fans inside the grow room, or place them between the grow room and ventilation exit? Noise isnt too much of a problem though i'd prefer to keep it to a minimum

Ventaxia( a brand of fan) website has good info on basics of ventilation.

I would use smooth pipe where possible.
Fewest bends possible.
Keeping fans away from bends is good for airflow and noise apparently.

Apart from that I don't think where they are on pipe run is hugely inportant.

as stealth said itl be fine but youl loose a bit of airflow thats all.
