Hey there folks,

Well now i'm sick of buy shit buds for stupid money in the UK £10 for decent bud is a joke!

I want to grow my own, 3 plants lowryder etc.

Here is my issue, I have to be stealthy, will use CFL's and have limited space. Im hoping to make a carbon filter or use one of those cooker hood ones as I can't afford one!

Would this be big enough for 3 plants, auto's preferably.... http://www.homebase.co.uk/webapp/wcs/store...ewares|14046994

Im hoping to use a diy DWC system or would you guys just recommend good old soil?.

Any advice even if its not related to any questions, i.e set up number of pc fans, cfl lights etc all welcomed. Flood my with info please folks. I have done searches but some stuff is mind boggling! or so it seems.

Many thanks guys n girls

Hi and welcome to the best site ever Sarah, everything you need to know is right here! spliff.gif
I know what you mean about crappy street weed, that's the sole reason why i started up and after a successful first grow with my Lowryder 2's i'm now on my second grow with killerskunk.
If i were you i'd go for a bigger growspace, maybe a wardrobe?,my 3 Lowryders grew to nearly 3ft so i think you may need something bigger than that cabinet you pointed out if you really want to be self sufficient.I would start off with good simple compost for your first grow as it's very forgiving and there is normally no need to feed them until you are in your final pots,Nutrient wise i would recommend Bio Grow and Bio Bloom.
Take a read through my first ever grow and diary in my signature below if you like,it may give you some ideas on your setup and such.Whatever you decide to do though i would definately wait until you have enough funds for a proper carbon filter as all canna plants stink and any other type of filter is not up to the job! thumbsup.gif
Happy growing,i hope you ditch that dealer soon!

Some good advice from amnesia there, just wanted to add that is the exact same box I am using to grow so maybe you want to have a little look at my diary to get an idea of the space available and what you can fit in it smile.gif

I don't know if you have already bought your seeds but I would recommend using normal seeds instead of auto's - IMO it is just as easy to grow a normal strain in a small space as it is to grow an auto, you just have to train it a bit more. The advantage is that you can clone if you happen to get awesome plants and want to keep the genetics, and you can choose which strain to buy based on what kind of smoke you want and will get a better deal. Because of the way auto's are bred (crossed with ruderalis) they are always going to be weaker geneetically than normal strains.

By the way I personally don't have anything against auto's, they have their place in growing ie outdoors but growing in a small space indoors I would definitely advise getting proper genetics. You can get a great quality strain for the same price as auto seeds, and with a little training it will be just as quick and easy to grow and should give you plenty of good quality bud.
