Hi all
Before I begin I just want to say what a great site this is and that I've learnt a lot from here.
I have been greenhouse growing for quite a few years now but this year I've had the best results.
I'm growing femmed Purple Haze planted back in June.
All but one plant I have topped and trained to experiment and will always go this way in future years.
I thought I should share some of my tips with you all. I live east London.
Seed early June in peat pots, no point any earlier. Transfer into LARGE pots when roots are just poking through the peat pots, I do not 'pot on gradually'. Used Levingtons compost with perlite.Greenhouse vent and door have been kept wide open 24hrs until last night. Yellow fly traps scattered around the greenhouse to trap those pesky pests and they really do work.
Using the Biobizz feeding schedule I've been feeding with Grow, Bloom and Topmax.
My top tip for this time of the year is invest in a dehumidifier. I close the greenhouse up overnight now apart from the vent (about 1" gap) and have the dehumidifier and a small fan going all through the night. I then open up greenhouse fully again during the day. I get about 1 litre of water each night via the dehumidifier!!!!
Seriously, if you've greenhouse grow you defo need a dehumidifier. Mine cost £100 but well worth it to stop mould and bud rot.
Anyway, here are some pics. 7th week of flowering. Trichs are still clear so I'm thinking about 2 more weeks.
Hope this is of help to some of you
