hi there im no experienced grower but it looks like nute burn to me. wot ec you running at? i think your ph is too high aswell, coco should be around 5.5-5.7 max same as hydro. im currently growing in coco but with house and garden nutes and no problem yet.(touch wood!) im a week behind you and my ec is 15 (1.5) and im gowing up in 1s every week so i started out at 1.2 the start of flower 2nd week of flower 1.3 and so on but my ph has always been 5.5-5.7 max. dont know if this helps check your ec and ph equipment eg calibrate them, then try again and see wot your running at

Ah finally some good advice to follow! I dont own an ec meter but me think its time to invest in one and quick. noob question here if i wanted to decrease the ph do i do that by decreasing the water ph with ph down then in turn that will decrease the coco's ph OR use sulphur or simliar on the coco? was neva good with the ph side of things pinch.gif
Cheers stu man!

i would flush with water for a day 1st then try this...
ec meter is a must, i didnt use one for ages and wos getting alot of problems so decided to get a blue lab one and a ph pen never looked back brill things lol.gif as for your ph empty your system (if you can) fill it up again with water add all your nutes then check ec to 1.6-1.7 if your on week 6-7 then check ph adjus by using ph down.depending on how big your resevoir is adjust it slowly till you get 5.7 then check it daily and make sure it stays at 5.7 threw the whole week same as your ec. hopefully it should sort it out after a few days. coco is jus a medium as long as your reservoir is sayin 5.7 then it should be ok.

Growing in coco soil with Biobizz grow and bloom.

unsure.gif Are you growing in pure coco using Biobizz?

Just in case it's useful & you haven't seen it: http://www.uk420.com/boards/index.php?show...l=coco++biobizz

I suggest using coco-specific nutes if you're using only coco... wink.gif

It's not just me - the issue has come-up a few times. It seems that it can work if you mix the coco with suitable compost. Biobizz themselves seem to think you can use it, but it seems like a lot of supplements are necessary. (click here)

Basically - hydro/coco nutes contain everything a plant needs in a form that the plant can immediately absorbe. It seems that organic nutes such as biobizz contain materials which may only become available after they've been acted-upon by soil microorganisms (not present in coco), or material which nourishes these beneficial microorganisms... hope that makes sense - basically hydro nutes meet the needs of the plant, compost nutes meet the needs of the whole beneficial community in the compost, including the plant.

There are some folk who experiment with adding microrganisms to hydro systems etc. so it's not so clear-cut as I describe above - but that's the general gist of things...

I keep my mums in coco, and tried using biobizz 'grow' for a while and my plants started to look a little like yours after a while... they did recover once I started using my regular hydro nutes.

Hopefully someone else will chip-in...

I'll defo invest in coco nutes for future crops.
It's all trial and error in the end, thats what makes life all so intresting. Good tips man I hopes other peeps benefit from dis.

hi mate, im having exact same problem looking at your pics, & also using biobizz nutes, ive had it posted a few times through this grow and have lost a few plants and i now have 1 left which is almost done but anyways everyone always comes back to nutes, i did overfeed them a little, but i since started some cuttings which were doing ok and now they have started doing the same and i havent give them any nutes whatsoever so it isnt nutrients, i really am not sure, ive had probs with whitefly and some other i think scarid flies? i dont know if this is to blame, doesnt really help im afraid but it gives you something to think about,

have you had any pest probs? rofl.gif

I'm still not sure whether the OP is using coco or a soil/coco mix...

Your profile says you're using compost tonyc? Should be fine with biobizz AFAIK...
