Well some of my plants took a massive beating today in the weather, the buds must have taken on loads of water because a few of the plants have bent over so they were touching the floor, I spotted a bit of rot in one and decided to chop two of them there and then.

I then decided to make hash out of some of what I chopped so collected up loads of pop corn buds and started.

It aint going bad but I am stuck

So far I took some of this

Played around and beat the crap out of it for a bit, used a hand blender too.

Now I got it down to this

They look like trichs in the bottom to me (Any comments are welcome as I don't know a great deal) I can see plant matter in there too but I can live with that, I am not looking for the purest hash in the world, just a nice smoke will do me.

Now I am unsure how to best (Or quickest to be honest) get the water out of the coffee peculator.

Once the non-soluble matter has settled on the bottom, you can carefully draw water from the top using a large kitchen syringe or something similar.

If you absolutely can't lay your hands on something like that right now, I suppose you could use something like an empty (and cleaned out) washing-up liquid plastic 'squeezy' container to suck up the water.

You really wana let it settle for the night martin. Then use a syringe to siphon out the water to just above the hash. Pour the reminder on a dinner plate and put it in the oven on a low heat door slightly ajar and let the water evaporate. Then using a Stanly blade, round up all those little crystals. And roll in to little balls of happiness

Well being completely impatient, slightly stupid and unable to take instruction from people that know more than me about things I have managed to get most of the water off (Saved it for an over night run, and have saved the herb mix for a bho run) I am now filtering what is left through a paper coffee filter (Well 2 filters married together). Hoping its gonna pan out OK!

Well there were trichs for sure. Along with what looks like a handful of cut grass. This is a disaster

Never mind, I'm sure that whatever you manage to salvage from this run (so long as you actually remembered to keep the trichs and not bin them, keeping the other parts ) will provide a nice buzz even if it might not be quite up to the high standards of the nice hash that I know you like so much.

Couldnt you just get whatever hash there was dry it then run it through some dry sift mesh if you have any

Have look at Tilt!'s thread, he throws a block of butter in with all the water trim and the waste water, simmers the whole lot and separates it off.... surprisingly good, floored me twice

¿I presume that method dissolves all the fat-soluble THC into the butter making cannabutter from the trim?
