this might be of use to you, if you grow outside (and if it is let me know wink1.gif )

now those hungry basterds (aka slugs and snails) taste what they are treading on , their "foot" is thier tongue right

now do you like to suck on your small change??? of course not, well neither does slugsey

i have a roll of adheasive backed copper tape that is sold to keep em at bay (about 4 or 5 quid i think)
sold by a well known door 2 door homewares seller whistling.gif

anyway my ideas could workout cheaper

idea the first : save your pennies. like a lot of peaple i have a fair bit of change lying around (lots of coppers lol.gif). why not take your small change and invest it in critter defence, a topdress of around 20-30 pence should keep em bak i would think

idea the second : how about stirpng some old wiring (loads down the dump, just rember your cutters) down to the copper wire and create a kind of "rats-nest" tangle affair around the base of each plant... think they would "break through the wire"?? (could also keep other animals from trying their luck maybe)

hope this will be of use to someone cool.gif v.gif
