Hi, just a simple question here really.
If it was a toss-up betwenn the 8pot Wilma drip unit or Amazons aeroponic 8pot system which would you settle for? I would love to hear from anyone who can tell me why they chose what they did.
Cheers

i expect they will yield the same, it depends on how you grow.

with a wilma its a bit easier because you only have to give them 4 feeds a day so the nutrient levels dont fluctuate as much and the pump doesn't warm the water at all.

i think the only down side to a wilma is that you have to clean the clay balls or renew them and wash the dust off them at the end of each crop.

with the aeorponic system they grow in air so hardley any pebbles needed apart from the ones in the net pots which takes 5 mins to clean after a grow.

the aeorponic system will be noisey at the start because there is not much root for the water to splash off so it sounds like filling a bucket up with water.

There is not much noise from the amazons really . They use the same pump , so the noise from that is equal . I wouldnt say the sprayers are any noisier than the wilmas arrow drippers at full tilt . I have grown using both machines and would say that the wilma is a more forgiving / easier to use system than the amazon . The reasons why i use the amazon are , i can get three in the space i would get 2 wilma's or 1 16 pot one . The amazons are not as tall a system either so if you have restricted headroom they are the better option imo . But they take a bit of getting used to .
