Hello all im new to this site (fucking great by the way) and thought i would post some photos and maybe ask a few Q's. Ive got a few plants on my patio and last week i brought a greenhouse to keep them in untill they finish flowering.

Here are a few photo's of the the plants in the greenhouse and two that are planted into the ground.

Got a bit of a shock when i noticed this fucker growing out of the a gap between a patio slab and concrete!!

Anyway the Q.
I brought the greenhouse to keep the plants protected when the weather gets shit but seems to have caused more problems so far with condensation buildup

I was wondering what you guys thought i could do to sort the problem other than taking the greenhouse away? I already keep the door wide open and have lifted a bottom corner of the cover up to create some air flow in there, and think i might have to pull all the covering to half way up the frame!!?

Surely this defeats the point of having the greenhouse in the first place though!! What do you think?

Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks for looking.

Looking Great!!
I cant advise about the condensating other than try to keep as much air flow if poss.....but then you have to worry about the temps...could see a frost this weekend..so say the weather lady.. sad.gif hmmmm mould and frost..fukkers!!!

Nice plants! You need to louvre the plastic cover on the greenhouse, by cutting the plastic horizontaly with a big pair of scissors about 3 inch down from the top poles going around the green house all the way (the zip for the door is a problem, maybe). Then raise the bottom piece of plastic 3 inch (you may want to roll it up a bit more or cut it shorter and if you have any of those plastic clips that come with the greenhouse, use them on the vertical poles to keep the bottom section of the greenhouse up..and on the top section to stop it blowing away.I make better greenhouses out of a large polythene sheet than i can buy, but i need the frame and clips tho.

Thanks for the comments guys. I did the louvre thing, a little different though. I put 6inch vertical slices about 2 inch from the top on the left side and the back, about 6 on the left and 4 on the back. then lifted the bottom right hand side cover off the floor about 6inch and kept in place with clothes pegs. So far i havent noticed any condensation in there so has definately worked.

Hi Slinky
You can improve the ventilation from the slits you made by weaving some 40mm pvc tube in and out of the cut strips..it`ll force the slits to stay open at each side.

looking good there ,now the gap under the g/h will stop the condensation .but you will need a oil rad soon as the temps ar droping at night now.you will get lots of mold and rot if your humidity goes up above r/h humidity/so grab a oil radiator and have it on a timer for just at night ,and youl get sum nice virgins by the end of october /bud rot free and no mold or other probs ,well done on them virgins m8 spliff.gif

the pic is to small m8,now dont buy a greenhouse heater or fan heater as they bern /blow up,and cost a fortune to run .so defo get a oil radiator as they ar cheaper to run and safer for us to use ..for that sise g/house i would personly get a 1000w oil rad ,and have it on mid setting ,so be only using 500w and itl heat the space alot faster to have a 1000w one at least ,i use a 2000w oil rad on low to mid power for my bud room as its a very cold and damp room,in winter defo! good luck to ya fellow herb thumb cool.gif oh and i would put a cheap shed alarm in there just incase , sum lad on here had all his girls took out of his g/house as i read the thread sum time back , f..kin theives gunsmilie.gif smoke.gif
