OK folks, so I've finally managed to talk my way into bashing a hole in the closet ceiling


I'm running 1 400W HPS over a growing area of 35 x 40 inches. It's the end of an L-shaped closet, height 102 inches.

It would be nice in future to get a second 400W lamp for the other end of the closet once I've sorted out a second fan for the intake.




I've also got some OG cheese cuts to grow, where smell will, no doubt, be a factor.

Within budget (from Greens), I've got:

a budget 6" RUCK with budget filter (470m3/h)

OR a high powered 5" RUCK with rhino filter (365m3/h)


Which would you get? I guess I could upgrade to a 6 inch rhino filter at a later date with the budget option... or will the budget filter hold the cheese at bay for a while


I'm going to use expanding foam to sound deaden the fan and place it in the loft above the grow room either way I think.
