Hi guys!
I think i need some help.
On my Canaloupe Hazes and Lemon Skunks, 2 of each, they are on the 4th week of flowering in Canna Terra Pro Plus being fed with Coco A, Coco B and Cannazym with the ocasional treatment with Pest Off and Halo. They all look great apart from a strange white powder apearing on the lower part of the plant, leaves and steams included, i guess it only happens in the areas with less light.
I´ve cut all the infected leaves and cleaned and treated all the plants sadly on the day after the some powder started to apear again. Strange is the fact that i have another 3 White Widows and 2 Black Dominas under the same light and with the exact same conditions that dont have any problems with this.
Does any one had a similar problem?
Does anyone has a good&cheap tip to solve the problem?

Thanks in advance for any help!
Peace and Stay Green!

Thx for the reply but im sure there are no males or hermies around they are all clones from known mothers.
And i grow indoors with no males in the house...apart from myself cool.gif

The damn powder looks to my untrained eye like some kind of mould/fungus , is that possible?
Ca it be a reaction to Halo or Pest Off?

Im pretty sure its the damn white powdery mildew.
My plants are on early flowering all looking healthy, apart from the ocasional leave with mildew, do you have any kind of advice?
Thx again

Ah damn. I had white powdery mildew on my first grow. Strangely, it affected the s.silver haze only and not the white widow. It seems like ww is resistant to it. I treated the ssh with sb plant invigurator, which kept the mildew at bay, but did not completely eradicate it. But there are probably better products out there.

Good luck,

Last attack I had was thwarted by an agressive treatment strategy using 'Bayer Exact'.

Every growshop & garden center around here stocks it but I don't know if it's available in the UK.

I attacked the afflicted plants with a spray at 'rose' concentration every day for 3 days and gave the whole room a spray at 'houseplant' concentration once.

The white spots don't dissapear - but they do stop spreading.

¿Which is the higher concentration - and by how much? unsure.gif

¿Also, do you remember what the active ingredient was that's in it?

Don't have to remember, I have it beside me as I type.
The active ingredient is 'triadimenol' @50g/L
Concentration for Apples & Grapes is 5ml to 10L water, maximum 1liter per 10m2
-For Roses it's 30ml to 10L.

I tested it at increasing concentrations on a 'lab-rat' plant to make sure there was no leaf-damage etc before using it in the bloom chamber. To be safe, I haven't used it past the 4th week of flowering - haven't had to!

Thx for all the input.
Im gonna do a triming and cure with NeemRepeel tonight and next week if necessary gonna try something stronger.
I will keep you guys posted.
Thx to all cool.gif

yup thats PM you've got im sorry to say, ive been fighting it for ages and the only thing ive found truly works is "bayer systhane fungus fighter", it saved my last lot of sweetooth that was about to be overcome by PM. neem repel and chopping at some of the fan leaves only slows it down a little imo.
Logik
Give your room a good clean after this grow too mate
PauloLx
After plenty of trimming, weekly applications of NeenRepeel and PMT from CanadianExpress i think that the Mildew problem is under control.
Not completelly erradicated, still the ocasional leave with a bit of white powder, but just minimal.
I will keep the control measures and when i finish this crop i will give a proper clean to the grow cabinet and maybe even burn a sulphur candle inside...Do you guys think this is a good ideia?

Thx again for your valluable input
