Full Version: Sawfly Larvae In My Buds

I have a Tundra (meant to be autoflowering passion #1 but it didn't autoflower) on my patio. It's coming on nicely and is late in flowering, however at the weekend I discovered a sawfly larvae in one of the buds. I went through all of the buds carefully and removed about a dozen of the bastards, however I'm sure there must be some small ones left in there chomping on my buds. Does anyone know if there is anything I can do or should I just keep an eye on the plant for any further signs of damage?

As strangte as it sounds, birds are your best friend with these little buggers. If it's outdoor, maybe attract the birds with some bread, and hope they notice the little fukkers.

Other than that, your probably a bit screwed this late in the season.

You could try some normal shop grade bug clear, but be sure to get some that's safe on fruits etc, so as not to poison yourself.

Unfortunately with a cat we don't get many birdies in the garden, could be part of the problem. Thanks very much for the advice, with shit weather having arrived I'm going to start chopping in now anyway. Definitely don't want to try spraying any shit on them at the moment.
