Ok folks my greenhouse is quite away away from my property, if i close the doors and window its absolutly dripping in there by morning, so ive been leaving them open, but now its getting colder at night the plants have started showing purple leaves and buds,, just wondering how everyone else combats this. any ideas welcome. Many thanks in advance Mr T

autovents on roof windows and I run my dehumidifier and oscellating fan 24/7, vents shut to an inch at night and fully open in the sun, I leave bottom louvre open all the time for ventilation.

Iv also got 2 x solar fans but I dont think much of them although probably better than without in the full on summer sun.

Iv got a very nice bushy white rhino in there this year smile.gif

Sorry just seen your ghouse is a way away doubt you could run eletric to it?

Also the gas/oil ghouse heaters actually create condensation I wouldnt bother with them, end of day the natural conditions for canna are alot harsher, cold is far more acceptable than condensation, it WILL just lead to moulds imo!...

Last year I physically wiped out the inside of my greenhouse every morning as it doesnt get as much sun in late summer and I couldnt get power in there. I had mould on a couple of buds and some on a main stem and by 20th October they were chopped because of it.

Closing the doors makes it worse.

THis year my plants are in pots and have been outside in the garden since April. Plan is not to use the greenhouse unless it is raining.

Good luck mate
