I've been using Biobizz pretty much right through my grows with good results and No checmical tasting weed which is definately a bonus But my friend recently sorted his stuff out and hes got 20 odd clones & seedlings being fed the Hydro Canna feed in pots filled with the small rockwool cubes just put into a tray and left under a 600watt light. His feed regime is if the water in the bottom of the tray is low then he tops it up. Simple. No bubbler/dripper/etc system, just hand fed into the tray.
Now what is really bugging me is the difference in his plants in just under 2 weeks which is incredible. The stem on a 3 inch tall plants is a thick as your thumb and they are an amazing picture of health, compared to mine which are standard thickness and like my bubblegummers recently today found out being thin stemmed and fairly top heavy means your gonna have problems with supporting the buds... I believe he's been feeding both the Canna grow and bloom feeds since the day he took the cuttings also.
But what im thinking is as I've heard so much and now actually seem quite outstanding results with my own eyes. Do i just try his method out as i can see the results being twice what i can get from a plant or do i keep smug and say my way was better when and if he messes it up?
Obviously we all want to get the most from our plants but seeing this has baffled me and after growing for a few years now im seriously reconsidering for my next setup using the Canna stuff and goingthe same way as my mate whih is sort of half hydro minus the dripper/aero.bubbler/etc sytem..
