got couple roots showing on my clones in my diy aerobucket, once a bit bit bigger i plan to split a 1" cube and add these back to the cloner, i will also change the water and add 1/4 nutes.

Once through these i will add them to 3" cubes and keep them in a tray and hand water with 1/4 strength.

My lights are on 24hr at moment.

How do i get them on 16/8 ?

When can they go into main box with hps and bucket bubbler ??

Just a little confused on the correct process of getting them into main flower box.

once roots are showing well on the big cube ,
put a layer of pebbles in the net pot anout 1-2 inch deep
add your cube and cover with pebbles

then fill your bubbler so that an inch of the net pot is under water

this will help the roots stay moist without handwatering the netpots

you need a contactor if you are using more than a 250w hps and a timer , then set the timer to 18 on 6 off

Cheers jaffa, got all the gear mate. But how do i grow them on in the 3" cubes ?

Do i keep them under 24hr fluro in a prop and water by hand until the roots pop through then into main box under 16/8 ?

Also how do i harden them off timescale wise ?

and how long do i veg them in main box under hps until i put them into flower is it done on height, roots ?

Personally I wouldn't bother with the 3 inch cubes. Less rockwool the better in my experience.

As soon as roots show through 1inch the can be put in net pots with grow rocks.(I have put em straight in from aerocloner without rockwool and this has worked also). Keep rockwool towards the top of net pots is best I think.

18/6 is better for vegging than 16/8. Some strains will actually flower at 16/8.
They can go 18/6 anytime I think.

They can go under hps once they have a bit of root showing imo. Just keep the light 3 feet away and lower it bit by bit over a week or so. I always get mine under hps as soon as possible. More lumens per watt. (Some might disagree with this).

How big you veg em is a piece of string question. Depends on planting density.I usually veg em till they fill about one third of the space. How long this takes depends on how many plants per metre. Trial and error here I'd say.

Best not to think too much about it -I have found. They are robust and forgiving plants once the basics are kept right. Hope this helps and good luck.
