This is my first post other than saying Hi so sorry in advance if i make a few mistakes...

OK here goes, I am choosing seeds for my first grow and so far have decided the following:

I want to grow White Widow as it seems that its not a bad choice for a first grow and it's a strain that I have smoked and am familiar with so it will give me a reference as to how things have gone if I get that far.

I am looking for a trippy enerjetic high from a second variety that would be suitable for growing with WW and saw the suggestion of Tiki seeds Green Devil in another thread here as it seems to be a shortish, relatively quick flowering mostly Sativa.

My questions are:

As I want to take clones and get mother plants from this grow is it best to get normal seeds for a more stable result?
Any suggestions other than Green Devil?
How many plants will I be able to flower in a 1.2 x 1 x 2m room with a 600hps lumatek / adjust-a-wings with heat sheild room (first grow will be in compost with Biobizz nutes)?

Nevilles haze, or female seeds nevilles haze hybrid... I grew that one out before and it was a real head fook! Its said to be one of the trippiest strains you can get or so i was told! only thing is it can take a long time to finish, mine could have gone 14 weeks easily but they were constantly packing on weight as i had them in 30litre tree tubs

Second try at posting... hm, ok, I grew 3 WW's from DP 10 years ago, a very easy grow. Here's the pic. As you can see, they were very uniform. Mind you that was 10 years ago, so who knows now ?? Sorry about pic quality, it was scanned.

Can't really help on the strain choice Sophia, although the one or two peeps on here who have grown Green Devil on here rate it AFAIK.
Here are a couple of threads discussing 'trippy' strains (Green Devil gets a mention). Bear in mind that anything potent chopped a little early should be a bit racey to say the least.

Mr Nice seeds apparently hold the original White Widow genetics (sold as Black Widow) - but don't know if that is the best one.

Plant numbers - you could probably squeeze 9 flowering girls in 6.5 ltr final pots, or maybe 4 bigger plants in 11 ltr final pots. With appropriate veg time (longer with less plants) and training either way should yield similar.

if i was to grow white widow i would choose the black widow, its white widow from the original breeders of the strain (mr nice)

i hear LSD (strain) is trippy, and heard strawberry cough (strain) is energetic if thats of any use.

and for any strains that seem expensive, you can buy in singles from somewhere on the internet.

edit:
under 1.2m sq id choose 9 x 11L pots if you can get em in there and if the strains will allow.
11L pots will be great to give the plants more nutrients so you would prob use less feed or get bigger buds, especialy if using a good soil/compost, with more plants you can give shorter veg time and mabe grow as single colas and get more bud in the room if they shoot up a little.

Hi Sophia, I'm growing the Barneys LSD at the moment which is supposed to be trippy but couldn't tell you as haven't tried it yet... here's a couple of pics of it at day 56.

Skinny Jimmy I plan to do some haze next year but the long flowering times concern me a bit for a first atempt, I have never had Nevilles Haze and will put on the possible list along with Super Silver Haze that I have enjoyed a few times. My plan is to do Kali Mist and a Haze in a Polytunnel next year.

Shaktiva, love the mask, might go for DP if I can't get the Black Widow.

fuzzpot and mrweed I am going to check out LSD, those look nice
