hi all, after the odd browse over the hash forums i decided to keep all my trim this time round rather than bin it pinch.gif !
i have the 3-bag medium sized kit(220,73 and 25u)

1st question: how big of a bucket do i need?like how much,if any, room do i need between the bag bottom and the bottom of the bucket?
2nd question:roughly how much water&ice do i add in to the bucket?do i fill it 3/4 up?
3rd question:i also heard that layering the trim and ice in the bucket is a good method?or is it best to just add
the water&ice then add the trim to that?

sorry about the noob questions,i just wanna be sure i dont mess it up stoned.gif

i think thats about it as everything else i have seen on the forums searching, thanks in advance!

You could checkout youtube, quite a few videos on bubble hash, I used to keep my leaf and shread it, I used to find the leaf alone will blow ya head off mainly as a result of all the cystalisation on the leaf around the bud sites, you can have several oz's on homegrown stong leaf or perhaps an 8th if your lucky with several oz's of leaf for bubble hash, hence my choice to keep the leaf as it lasts longer. rofl.gif

q1- i always use builders buckets. its a bit of a pain leaving a gap at the bottom because the weight of the water/ice/trim drags the bags to the bottom anywhos.

q2- 3/4 full sounds about right to me.

q3- you need to get your water down cold before adding you trim so i always add one pack of ice to maybe 5l of cold water then do some layering with ice and trim after this but thinking about it it seems pretty pointless as the trim clumps together 1st chance it gets and i always end up having to break it back up.

i always use 3 buckets for bubbling, i put my bags in one bucket and put it to one side, do the initial mixing in the second bucket and then slop the mixture from 2nd to third bucket and vice versa until ive done all the adjitating i feel it needs only then do i use the bags and the 1st bucket( save ripping the sides of your bags this way and you can be a lot rougher if you feel the need).

thanks trebor that makes it clearer for me,so you would recommend mixing the shakes+ice&water in seperate buckets first then add it to the 3 bags+main bucket when its had its 15minute mix, once in the main bag,let settle for 30-40mins then drain? thanks.

Thats what i do with me cordless smile.gif,

Nice to see you not throwing from grams of amazing bubblehash in the bin Ace thumbsup.gif ,

Once you have bubbled try to dry it out again for a BHO run, is a pain in the bum but really worth it, My BHO run......

I also use a 5gallon builders bucket, but i do mix inside the bags...

Lots of ice and lots of cold water is important so if you have to much trim do two runs. I use ten bags of them easy fill icecube things from the supermarket for each run.

I don't think it makes a difference once you start whisking mate, as it all goes round and round.

This the guide i followed when i first did mine it's really good Bubblehash guide...

Peace & Hash

yea mate thats about it, it also gives you a chance to get rid of the excess ice and trim making it an easier and quicker experience ive found.

easy ratdog. ive got a mate who does just that on the second bubblerun but he just hand mixes and swaps from bin to bin (he has a lot of trim smile.gif so has to use bins) on the 1st run to get the best quality bubble then smashes the buggery outa it on run two to get the rest of the goodness out(its great not worrying about fecking your bags up this way i feel).
