Full Version: Sick Babies - Yellowing, Brown Spots, Curling

Hi - I'm 3 weeks into a new grow, and I repotted a week ago into the first pots, from jiffy pellets. Since I've repotted, a mark that I thought was a bit of leaf burn from water splash, has turned into brown spots all over all of my seedlings. Now they are starting to yellow and grey at the tips and curl. The underside of the leaves are turning purple on the unhealthiest leaves.

Sometimes the lower leaves can be a bit more fragile then the rest. It could be the soil is a bit too hot (too much ferts) for the little ones. It also looks like they could be getting watered a bit too much because of the downward droopy leaves.

Your not PH adjusting your water are you?

Its a good idea to get your plants into a routine nice and early with a wet --> dry cycle. This way they will take up the feed a bit better when they are fed..

I would be tempted to pot them up into some lightweight soil, Get some B+Q seed and seedlings or Levingtons Seed and Cutting stuff and see how they go..

heyboy
