Could anyone point me to a good IMAP service ?

Im using my little eee 900 as a security cam which emails my gmail account with a picture that i can view on my mobile phone. That part is working fine but would like to receive a txt when there has been a trigger. Google (gmail) supports IMAP but i fall apart when tyring to find a good SMS service and preferably free??

Can anyone help ?
