wink.gif yep too much nutes or too much heat....

what is the temperature at the canopy?
andypotatoes

Judging by the length of the antennae (they look short to me) And the fact it is on the top of the canopy, and present in strong light - I would guess it's a grasshopper, probably a very young one. It's certainly not a common plant pest.

They do eat vegetation, but not enough to affect your plants - they are suffering from heat stress, wind burn or over feeding. Perhaps a little of all three. smile.gif

Looks like heat stress and a stoned cricket to me stoned.gif

It's not a Cricket - no top hat, see. Unless he's so mashed it's fallen off.. smile.gif

Hi there, we have a case of thrips at the moment, if it is thrips you'll proably find larvae on the under side of the leaves they're tiny white things,You'll need to use a loupe or magnifying glass to see them.As that does look like a possible adult thrip.

It's actually a froghopper mate. They do suck sap but unless you had a million in there they wouldn't have done that to your plants. And you'd really know if you had a million of them.

What extraction have you got? The plants look overfed and overheated to me at the very least, there might be an insect problem you're not aware of too.
floppy

for extraction i have a ruck 150L at about half speed, 2X 6" clip on fans, temps at bottom of tent are 73C.

im not sure about over feeding, as im following ot1 guide.

as for pest problem, i inspect them daily, i can not find a thing in there...

I recon thats a Leafhopper,

Do you have small patches of white on the leaves ?

JOM
andypotatoes
I reckon you've got it JOM guitar.gif

Eurtryx aurata.

The markings match up and everything. I knew it was to elongated to be a froghopper, and I couldn't find a grasshopper anything like it.

Thanks Andy,

Nice to get one right lol.gif Froghoppers leave "cuckoo spit", I think I'm right in saying, and they hide inside the spit.

If the infestation is one I'd just squash it and have a good look around for more but ironically one way to get rid of leafhopper is to spray with nicotine 34.gif , just checked in my bible.

the white damage on the leaf below it looks like thrip damage, can you shake them off the plant?

Wooo, they some crispy looking leaves up top. That's gotta be heat stress

Anyhoo, have you checked for Spider Mites. Easiest way I found to see mine, was look directly up at the canopy from the floor. If you see any tiny black speckles, just watch them for a little while to see if they move. If they do, you're infested mate. My leaves have white blotches from the little buggers, but not nearly as bad as yours are on there, so I can't be sure it's the same.

Good luck fella, and get that extraction pumped up.
Doobz
personally I wouldn't worry bout the nasty bug and be a bit more worried as to wtf is happening to your plants.. Why are all the leaves crispy and spotty also..
