COUGHCOUGH
Vegged some Strawberry haze, Amnesia Lemon and Chocolope in my tent for about 5 weeks back in July. Disaster struck and I had to move to a place where growing was a no no. Had no choice but to bag them up and take them for a trip to the countryside.

Checked on them a few times and they seem to have adjusted ok although haven't grown much. Last checked on them around 2 weeks ago and they looked a couple of weeks into flower. I know that with the climate here I've got no chance of going the length and chopping at the correct time as I guess it'll be damn near xmas by then!

Any idea of when to chop? Don't think they're gonna yield much but even if I get a few g's off each it'll make for a different smoke spliff.gif

i'd leave it as late as possible, while keeping an eye out for budrot. you might get away with it if theres a very light frost, but a decent ground frost will turn the buds to mush. last time i was growing outdoors, i got them chopped the day after the first frost. hope you're lucky, i got away with a mexican sativa right up till nearly the end of november one year, its just depending how late the frost is.
COUGHCOUGH
cool. so keep an eye on the weather reports then?

I've never grown outdoor before and getting to them can be quite difficult.

As a rough guide will it be soon or do I have a couple of weeks/months to go yet?

thanks again

btw: just checked a gardening website and its says mid november for first frost! that can't be right surely!

I doubt they will finish or have dense buds but you could always hold it out untill the bad weather comes and make hash from them

englands a shitter for growing outdoors, indica's finish quickly but are more susceptible to mold, sat's are generally much more resilient to mold but take too long to finish doh.gif i've found when i've let my mother plants go to flower outdoors, that the sats will keep going until it gets too cold/lack of sun, rather than having to be pulled coz of budrot. so i'd say when it starts to get fosty cold at night
Green Goblin
My super silver haze flowered until about dec 15th last year before they succumbed to bud rot, if I grow a sativa outside in the uk again I will induce flowering end of august so they have a chance of finishing next time, it was a real shame to, the buds were coming a long nicely but it was to early to chop them and within 48 hours they were covered when the conditions were right for the mould to thrive.

Peace,
GG
