Hi, I need to find a very quiet air compressor, something that can produce 100+psi, higher the better, but it must be very quiet.
Does anybody know a good make ?
Many thanks for your advice.

BAMBI make a compressor that is ideal for aero systems. It's quiet and just as important it is fitted with special piston rings to prevent the lube oil from getting into the air flow. Not cheap though.

I have an air fed breathing mask which has inline filters to remove the dust, oil & water so it's breathable. You could probably just hook up the filters and forget the regulator to clean up a dirty compressor. Not cheap though ~£300, would be better just to buy the right compressor.

I saw a BAMBI dental air compressor go for £400 at auction last week I should have bought the darned thing, meant to be silenced as well.
