Hi, I am just about to get a NFT hydro grow thing for about 4-5 plants, could someone please tell me what nutes I need like the make of them, and what ec I need for each day like when to change for flowering etc.

I really do not know much and can't find about the things above.

I grow in coco coir, using vitalink veg/bloom/buddy, ec goes from 0.8ec wk1 veg - 1.8ec wk4 veg - 1.8ec wk1 bloom - 2.6ec wk6 bloom - 1.8ec wk7 bloom - wk8 flush 0ec.

Listen mate, your obviously very new to this, so I would suggest you read through as many hydroponics threads as possible before starting otherwise you will probably fail if you don't even no which nutes to use and the nft thingy is the Nutrient Film Technique and needs knowledge to run one optimally, also look through the knowledge base to learn about nutrients for hydroponics.

2.6 e.c is very high for week 1 bloom. The highest I have ever gone through flowering is 1.8 e.c.

It reads 1.8ec wk1 and 2.6ec wk2, go check stealth67 and his big pot grows, he managed 3.2ec without overnuting.

Personally I've not had to go higher than 1.8 e.c in 25 years of growing canna.

I no longer grow at my home, and i certainly dont keep photos of my plants on my pc, 30 years of growing and not an ounce of proof to show for it, just how I like it.

sorry, but an ec of 3.2 is rubbish! even if you could, why would you want to? just a waste of nutes

3.2 ec someone report him to the nspcc (national soceeity for the protection against cruelty to cannabis)
