I have this Blueberry outside in a small plastic greenhouse, she's in a large pot and i've been giving her Boost, silicon and catalyst and some bb grow until flower, i added bat guano to the compost to start and now using vintage guano as a top dressing
now she's roughly following the bb schedule with silicon every feed and catalyst every now and then
Click to view attachmentClick to view attachmentas you can see she's going really yellow and i'm losing leaves nearly every day,
she's about 6ft tall and 4ft wide and i know she's probably pot bound now and the yellow leaves wont get any better but what can i do to help her..............epsoms maybe

The pot looks a little small to me Imo...have you tried flushing her? Might be nute lock.

Try a good flush and a feed.

I would give her some bb grow first mate, and remove all the yellow leaves.

I have had the same problem with my plants that are in pots. Although the pots are very big they have outgrown them. At first I thought the problem was nitrogen deficiency but feeding extra didnt help. So I then thought nute lock, but flushing didnt help. Then thought it might be MG deficiency so I treted a few times with epsom sals but that didnt do anything.
I have come to the conclusion that it could be calcium deficency caused by a buildup of chemicals from the nutes.
I could be wrong but I just removed the badly yellowing parts and carried on as usual. Although the plants arent 100% healthy they definitely haven't gotten any worse.

100% macronutrient deficiency, especially N, I reckon.
Once heavily pot bound with congested roots the extra feed won't green the bottom of the plant back up again - It will stop them getting worse though.
Next year - bigger pots, that pot should be twice that size.
Nice bit of training.

Been suffering the same with my 2 Chiesel although not to the same extent. I have been upping the grow gradually from 1ml/L to 2ml/L with seems to be helping - less leaves turning yellow and those that have started to yellow retain the green for longer. Have only fed 2ml once so don't know yet if that has stopped it altogher yet.
I have never had this happen so quickly or so early in the flower cycle (now 3 weeks in). I suspect the crap weather this year may have had an inpact.

thanks for all the replies guys, i thought it may be the pot size but i didnt really think she would get that big

Same here with my Blue Cheese - in 15litre pots. I assumed they would be big enough - but the plants have outgrown them. I have upped the grow to 2ml/l for the last couple of feeds (+ 3ml bloom) and added a heaped tsp Epsoms - hope it might have slowed a bit - but difficult to tell as the yellowed leaves are getting worse - dont want to pull them until they are ready to drop.
Will this seriously affect final yield ?? or will the leaves die before they finish ??

What about epsom salt? Heard that might be the problem around this time.

I don't think the colder nights have helped but when this has happened to me in the past it seems to me it's because the plant is just to root bound to cope with the plants size and should have been potted up again really but what I have done instead is to mix a 2ltr jug of westlands m/p with ji into 20ltr of water, mix it well, leaving an air stone in there for 24 hours is even better and then I water it into pots that need it, leaves that are already yellow died and dropped but no other leaves went yellow after a couple of these watering, it just replaces most of what’s missing in the spent compost, we root prune and re pot our bonsai mums/dads when they turn this same shade of a whitish light yellow. But to use this method effectively you will need that spare inch or so at the top of the pot otherwise the compost/water will just run off and will be wasted.
Peace,
GG
e2a: It's not (Mg) deficiency.

i've put a 2" fresh layer of Westlands MP with rock/vintage guano on top of the pot and she doesn't seem to be getting any worse and all the green leaves are still green and the buds are growing nicely, just the big leaves are yellow
thanks guys

mine have done the same

im sure its not pot size as mine were potted up not long before flowering started and surely if youre feeding them well size wont matter ? plenty of roots to take up the nutes! im on 3-4ml grow and its only just slowing. weather cant be blamed cos it hasnt been bad at all here

only had the odd shower for last 6 weeks and if it was cold temps wouldnt there be purpling on the buds?

y'know i'm not so sure it is pot size either
Sky, well a little maybe
today i visited my outdoor grow and my dp blueberrys have done exactly the same, yellow leaves everywhere and 1 branch all the leaves have gone nearly purple... the ks next to them are fine
maybe dp blueberry are not suited for our climate/outdoor growing

mate is doing the same as mine outdoors and in good ground but theyve yellowed too , theyre roots arent restricted. maybe some strains are hungry bastards and more suited to hydro where nutes are readily available to the roots

i've been growing blueberry indoors in compost for about 2 years now without any problems and this is the first time 1st time outdoors, ground was a bit dry when i last looked and i've already decided to visit and feed them twice a week until harvest

myself quite a few of my mates have grown blueberry with similar problems as well as this weird curl you get on the leaves just sit it out my plants lost nearly all their fan leaves and i managed to get 175 grams a plant dry so to be honest doesnt matter
you can see the yellowing in the leaves on mine. also i personally think your pot isnt big enough either i think. need like a 70 litre pot if you want it to grow BIG

it still is losing leaves but not as much and the buds are coming along nicely, my other outdoor bb had to be cut down today as they had bud rot and a lot of the leaves had died but some had gone a lovely dark red,
here not all over but only on a few branches.
thanks for the reply

i have the same problem with my plants, basicly its autuming,,, look at all the other trees. plants dont get much light at this time of years so the plant yellow sheds its leaves, it will be fine, long as its not yellowing too close to the heads. i got 3 weeks left , im not panicing.
in mid summer? these were showing N def ages back
