I've went with spiral ductwork which so far is extremely quiet. The box before the fan holds an air filter (to protect fan)

Hi Metalbsher

good work fella

passive intakes work better - with hole 4 - 5 times greater than extraction

the filter will slow flow even more

not sure how to stop light getting in passive vent

good luck bro

Hi scint -they are RSC Lebanese and Mazar-i-sharif they do not supply femminised seeds

heyboy I've looked at your set up and you gave me a good few ideas'
like my intake has silver foil flexiduct out side the growroom which solves light leaking in. and
I can direct this intake to the loft area or the room below, which has a hot water storage tank depending on desired temperatures needed.

I also will fit my carbon filter inside the drobe, when I need it.

I have a lot of negative pressure and the 120mm computer fan seems to be enough so far.

yea I know it will still need a lot of fine tuning....but so far so good

Thanks for the input guys and..... as a first time grower I'm looking for all the help I can get

fingers crossed so far

just hoping for at least a couple of fems

That's a lovely neat setup you've got there. thumbsup.gif

¿So what's with this 'spiral ducting' you're using? I've never come across it before.

Hello ThickHaze thanks for looking in.

Scribble how you doing, spiral ductwork is used commonly in the ventilation industry. the name comes from the way it is constructed. Its made from strips of galvanised metal which is formed into spiral pipe sections.
