I've got 4 plants in 3rd week of flowering outdoors. It'd be a mighty shame to waste the trim so I was thinking of doing a dry sift hash run. Trouble is I cant get hold of any silk screen. But I do have a cafetiere, would the sieve in this be okay for making dry sift?

Yes, but it would take a long long long time and would be poor quality. Get some bubble bags. Well worth the money. My favorite part of harvesting is now breaking out the bags!

If I had more plants I would be tempted to splash out on Bubble bags in fact I still might. But good to know a coffee filter will do the biz in a worst case senario. I might buy a grinder with a mesh on it but again were talking about a long long time and painful wrists.

Hey mate,
If I was you and had 4 outdoor plants... gonna be A LOT of trim from them. So why not make some Ice Hash, it's much easier, faster etc.

it's used for t shirt printing,i got some off fleebay a few months ago,search for 'silk printing screen'
Sorry mate but you can't dry sift with a coffee pot - just make butane honey oil.
As a get-you-by, for dry sifting you can use a silk open weave scarf or such like. A tight weave net curtain is cool - think along those lines

Thanks grobag love you hippy crack thread! Just out of curiosity are the coffee filters too small a mesh size to let the hash through? Dont fancy BHO so im either gonna do homemade drysift or homemade icehash.
