Arrived this morning, luckily I have some ill looking plants in an amazon with brown roots so it should be easy to see if it can help with an already infected system (Something I'm sure many people would be interested in).

You don't get much for your money although I see the controller bit is made by growth technology so it's probably not a bad piece of kit.

Pretty certain the ozone generator itself is for fish ponds and growth tech have added the controller to adapt it for their needs.

Hooking up tonight but here's a pic of the kit, the probe was covered in a sugary solution I assume it's leaked a bit over time going to use it anyway seems fine full of solution still and seals look ok.

Think that residue on the probe may have been calibration fluid???

After 2 days I have new white root growth, the bulk of the roots are still brown but fresh growth is white. Plants don't look happy but they do look happier.

Res temps still 24C, swapping in a cool tube tonight tried last night but missing a reducer (Got 4 can't find the bloody things) which will hopefully drop the res temps.

If they don't recover I'm going to bang a load in compost to fill the area out and have another go at hydro in 8 weeks (When my BC is done) and temps have dropped.

Should have bought a res chiller as well, might anyway.

The instructions are poor, basically you need to hook an air pump to one of the ozone out points (There's 2) and it's pushes the ozone out the other outlet with air from the air pump through an air stone. The controller tells you how much ozone, which is meaningless to me as no one else seems to have used one. I've got it set to high at the moment.

Added pythoff to the fresh res as well.

Well I pulled the lot, killed all 16 even though there was some signs of recovery.

Ordered a chiller and another amazon, hydro I'm going to make you work.

As soon as my chiller and amazon come I have 8 clones ready to pop straight in and add the aquazone back in as well. I need to find out what the settings mean, I reckon I'm going to email growth tech for advice on how to use the damn thing.

Adding pythoff as well although I think the Ozone might kill the pythoff.

1 to pythium 0 to aquazone.

I should add the bit of the aquazone in the water is the probe which being glass I hope should be easy to clean of pythium and an airstone + some piping which is easily replaced.
