My mates just ordered some aurora indica seeds has anyone grown it or have any info on it?

I recently finished a grow of Nirvana AI and I have to say it didn’t go well. Firstly, when I opened the packs (2) I could see the seed didn’t look like it had gone through any kind of selection or grading process. I now anothe grower on the board had the same thing. The beans had no uniformity – all sizes and colours. Germination was 18 out of 20. They were vegged for just over a total of 6 weeks in compost under a 250w blue spectrum cfl for about a couple of weeks and the rest of the veg period under 1200w hps. I had identifiable preflowers at 4-5 weeks. The males were chucked and I potted the 9 females up to 15 litre final pots.

Out of the 9 females the phenotypes were all over the place. I had one which was very short and very branchy with thin stems which yielded very little. At the opposite end of the spectrum another which stretched like crazy had massive thick stems. I had to supercrop the big ones to hold them back to get a reasonably even canopy. One plant was what I would term as a mutation. It simply didn’t produce any appreciable bud – just small leaves. None of the plants showed a great amount of resin production.

True to the same theme. The smoke produced by each plant was variable as well. I don’t have a high tolerance but the bud produced by one plant hardly gave any buzz at all. The rest was mediocre. The primary object of this grow was to lay down some late night stash but this is not a potent strain,

I am not a Nirvana ‘knocker’. I have grown out some good stuff from Nirvana over the years. I had a lovely WW which stayed with me for a few runs but growing AI was a waste of electricity. Out of 20 seeds I expect a keeper at least.

Anyway, so many strains so little time.

I've just chopped mine AI grow, It was my first grow and although its ok i don't think i'll try it again. 5 plants and 2 were nice and bushy, other 3 were thin and spindly. Not as much resin as i expected!

madnes? wen i done 10 a indika from nirvana ,i got all 10 to germ and got 6 fems and 4 males.now the 6 fems were that nice /my m8 still go,s on about the nice fruity orange taste ,and i had 2 different phenos out the 6 females,3 were the more on the northern lights side ,to look at and smoke .and the 3 that was like a small bushy afgan was the orange hash tasteing one, i lost them due to neglect,as it was my first grow. i say buy 10 ,as they ar well nice and cheap to.just clone them ,as i wish i had

Yes, but it varied from only just to quite a dark purple.

Been growing AI for ages. 4 fems from 10 pips initially. 1 fruity and 1 piney scented plant both used as mums-both stoners, no good for a morning puff, unless you work nights. I now keep mine short and use cuttings, in compost 600w HPS 4" extraction/filter. Personally I love em...
