Hi Chaps,
I am named Rouffian as I have a house in a similarly named village in the south of France. The house is huge and I could grow indoors, but I travel a lot, and also have a large plot of neglected land so I am planning to convert part of it to growing something useful.
I am spending the winter chopping down some of the trees and preparing the land for the other crops (fig, walnut and almond trees, mainly) and I thought I would lurk about here absorbing advice.
I have grown quite a lot previously, but that was a few years ago (about 20) and I know that varieties have changed, techniques advanced and my memory faded. However I would consider myself of 'intermediate' knowledge. Nevertheless, I look forward to learning from experts.
fumez beaucoup, as they say in France.
