how do people cool.gif

anyone else got plants in pots outdoors and using biobizz g+b? is it working for you? i started using OT's guide but straight away they were looking hungry so ive steadily been upping the dosage (at 3ml G / 3ml B now) and theyre still yellowing!! they are budding but look miles behind most on here sad.gif
im not sure if night time temps are affecting the pot life badly and the nutes arent being broken down for the plant? possible?? going to wrap the pots in isowool today hoping it'll help

whatever strain it is definately doesnt like outdoors cos even with the decent weather theyre getting browny/black spots under the leaves sad.gif (used essence twice) im thinking of going chemical on their ass with canna a+b/pk13-14 and mould killer just to get them finished pinch.gif

Biobizz should be fine outside, it's working fine for me. How big is your pot compared to the plant? It could be pot bound or not have a very well developed root system. Can you post any pics?
sky
they're in 10'' pots and were potted up 4 times iirc
the worst one was the fastest grower until flowering started and did start to show slight hunger first as it was in its final pot before the others. the better 2 had canna coco+ added to the mix and i think the trichoderma has helped alot in comparison.

rootballs are all good and filled out well , theyve had plenty of essence poured in the pots and get a little drop of catalyst when watered (twice a week lately)

i'll get some pics up smile.gif

first is the hungriest one ...

i`m no expert here, but i'd say they need bigger pots. maybe its just the camera angle. i had some outdoors that did exactly the same with that same spread of yellow. i repotted to 15 inchers and they loved me for it! i was lucky and caught it the 1st week of flower.

a second opinion would always be good though.

i know there are too many variables (strain/location/compo used/nutes) but ive seen much bigger plants in smaller pots. you could fit your head in these things lol.gif and even if they were a bit small the nutes theyre getting should sort them out surely ??

i was tempted to put them in the ground a while back but as flowering was just about to start i didnt want to upset them. wish i did now cos i could have added granules to the holes and root temps wouldnt have been a worry.

am i right in thinking theyre sativa dominant? they aren't as leggy as some but have stretched a good bit and the leaves are quite thin. would being sat dom explain the slow budding? they look bulkier in the pics than they actually are

You could try some Epsom salts, looks like Mg def unsure.gif
Stixman
i think they just look hungry for nitrogen, some seaweed extract would help the yellowing stoned.gif

sky
they've had a little epsoms so deffo not that sad.gif and they've had a bit of catalyst seaweed with most waterings too.

its definately a lack of nitrogen but i dont know why unsure.gif they are getting plenty of it ! think im going to grab some a+b and see if chem nutes pick them up. had enough of the spots underneath too and im not losing them to mildew so they got a spraying with dithane earlier pinch.gif didnt want to resort to poison but ....
still learning
I have got the same problem with my Blue Cheese - the roots have filled their 15 litre + pots - and I have been watering with biobizz grow and bloom (more or less as per OT1 like yourself) I top-dressed a few weeks ago, and have given them a dose of Epsoms - but still they are yellowing.

If you get a result with the chemical nutes, please post and I will try the same

Good luck

I've got 2 lots flowering in my p/t, some Magic Bud from clones, which I planted in the ground from 10L pots about 2 weeks ago, and some Arjans Haze #3 from seed, which were in 7.5L pots. I put the MB's in the ground because they started to yellow and I didn't have any bigger pots, they were quite root bound. These are doing fine now. I put some of the AH's into 10L pots about a week ago, cos the fan leaves were yellowing badly and biobizz made no difference. All but 2 seem to be doing better, but these 2 are still yellowing, despite the fact they are in fresh compost and are still getting some BB grow. I've got no idea why.

well all i can say is they look better than mine but mine are more advanced and in just as bad shape as last years , outdoors is a beast ! ! very tricky i think as there are so many variables you have no control over. If i get the same as last year im going to be a happy bear ! Mine all have yellowing and 2 have what appear to be a diff or 2 but hey thats the burning question what is it ! ! i have the same probs with identifying the probs

Looking at yours my 1st thought was that they look very SAT DOM and i always think like fruits ! tomatoes work in the UK but pineapples dont ! its just a case of working out whats a tomatoe and what seeds are pineapples. spliff.gif spliff.gif spliff.gif

Well maybe not that simple but you get my drift. Anyways they still look good in my book. Hopefully we are in for some good weather for the last stage so all our prayers will be answered ! ph34r.gif ph34r.gif

EVERYBODY LOVES THE SUNSHINE cool.gif cool.gif cool.gif :B)

the way mould has spread even in the sunny weather weve had i think these will be gonners if we get more than a day of damp weather sad.gif

i've done a good few grows now using about 8 different strains in coco/canna nutes and never had lsf even on some tatty reveg plants outdoors. i use soil and organics ....... tits up ! lol.gif i'll give my indoor plant the bio/organic route but if that gets hit bad im back in coco and chems lol.gif

i dont think this strain is hardy to be fair ,after this grow i'll get some resilient seeds and start again

PASSSSSSSSION No1 is the way forward !

I'd agree that it looks pot bound too, rhis will cause the roots to circle the pot and will likely reduce the plants ability to take up nutriments, I would either repot or chop the bottoms off your pots, tease out some of the roots at the bottom and sit them on some dug over soil and let them root into the soil.

Edited to add: PASSSSSSSION No1 is the way forward w00t.gif
sky
thing is letting the pots fill out and feeding at the start of flowering is the done thing unsure.gif

the 2 better ones went into those pots maybe a week after the first but they were fed at the same time. im upping to 4ml g+b till end of next week and if they get any worse i'll pick up some canna stuff.
sky
passion no1 for outdoors you mean or just as a good indoor and out?

getting some armageddon cuts soon so going to give those a try first smile.gif love the smoke and they look mint while growing
