Hello everyone. Just joined this site after lurking. Been growing for 20 years or there abouts. I'm now changing my grow setup and will be using those envirolites ( 6 x 200 watts of reds and blues for a dual spectrum light all under 1 big reflector ). Just finnished using my HPS because of cost of running it ( 1000 watt HPS ). So although experienced I will need to be asking you all questions as these lights are not what I normally flower under, although I have a 125watt envirolite for seedlings, clones and mother.

Hi mate, welcome to the site I saw in your post you have finished using your 1000w hps because of cost, and are intending to use 6 x 200w cfl, it is my understanding that 6x 200 watts is equal to 1200watt in total, would it not cost more to run the 1200watt of cfl as it was to run 1000w hps but with better results coming from the hps? I may be wrong and someone else may be along shortly to correct me but as i say that is how it looks to me mate.
