i had a few good strains to chose from for this grow (including LUI, blueberry x mango, williams wonder, kush) but after reading all the hype about strawberry cough i "had" to try it

her "bouquet" is quite complicated
skunky and sweet, with lemon undertones. Very enjoyable smell. the type that u want to stick your nose on it. I certainly do, so i can have her smell for the next hr on my nostrils
The indica pheno will be done at least 3 weeks sooner than the mostly sativa pheno. they smell a bit different too. The base of the smell is the same, but beoynd that, they are quite different plants. I see the sativa finishing in early to mid November and the indica in about 3 weeks.

Hi Peace, i`m on my third generation of the lovely SC and it`s a great strain, i grew out two seeds one tall and one avarage and the difference between them was night and day 
The taller one is the one that was the best, like you say the smell took a while to come,along with the trichs, but when it does it`s amazing very fruity

Thats exactly what i got. A tall one (sativa pheno) and an average one. It takes a while for the smell to come on the tall one and it looks like it is going to take her an extra month to finish, since she started flowering a while later (both plants were started on the same day)

I grew this on my first grow, the indica pheno was done in 8 weeks and the more sativa one in 9.5 weeks.
The indica one had half the yield of the more sativa one but was the strawberry cough pheno, or, the pheno that makes you cough on the exhale and after a month in the jar absolutely reeks of strawberry. Has more of an indica stone, it's still uplifting but it will couchlock you making you giggle and smile till you come down.
The sativa one is more complex, hints of strawberry but with more citrus and skunky undertones. The sativa pheno was my favourite, really nice enjoyable get up and go high. Don't get me wrong the indica pheno was nice too, the sativa one just had me you know?
I really wish i still had that cut...

the smell (so far) is sweet and deep skunky (kinda reminds me of some bubble gum i had in the Dam a few years back) with slight hints of citrus. Its not "strawberries" yet. The sativa pheno on the other hand, doesnt have a certain smell yet.
I wouldnt be surprised if it didnt smell like strawberries, even after a few months of curing. A previous strain that i grew from dutch passion, was supposed to smell like sweet berries, but when i open the jar (after a few months of curing) i get a very distinct pink grapefruit smell. Nevertheless the high is top notch.
I trust DP's genetics.
The strawberry really does smell of strawberries after a couple of months in the jar. It's a very nice dreamy, up smoke. Leaves you with a bit of a next day weedover, but some don't mind that.
I grew it outdoors last year and it went well.

i do like the sc its the only strain from beans ive grown an bought twice now in the space of a couple years, i did chop a bit early, but it is a lovely smoke
had hermies on there femmed but due to stress nothin major jus a few balls i had to chop. may buy it again although im more interested in the clone only version.

had my first smoke today. What a unique smelling strain. Cant stop smelling the buds. Very strong aroma. She definatly needs carbon filtering if done indoors and with more plants. But the smell is very addictive. Deep and sedative. Like a sandalwood kinda smell, hashy, mixed with lemon and skunk.
Her high was kinda like Jorges Diamonds (another DP strain) but with more kick to it (sativa kick). Kinda more creative. I played guitar for an hr and the chords seemed to fly away with ease. Impressed.
The buds are quite fluffy (sativa like) but i m sure if grown under an HPS they ll be more dense.
Yeild: not bad for a plant that was grown with minimum amounts of sunshine.
Resin production : damn good.
Ease of manicuring : difficult (leafy strain)
She loves her nutes too.
i havent smoked this strain long enough to have a spherical opinion, but i can tell you this :
the haze in it, definatly uplifts you, in a very special way. You can be tired or "burned out" and 5 mins later your spirit gets from gloomy to "lets go out and do something". It also lasts long enough. But its a clear kind of high. the type that you think that you arent even high, but in reality you are! Sounds crazy huh? I thought so too.
imho, its a good strain for those who suffer from anxiety or depression. Your mind gets positivelly focused.
the only "negative" i can find so far, is a "hangover" type of feeling the next day.
