Mr. Sparkle
HI,

I'm going to pot up my plants into their final pots soon and when they've rooted through they'll be going 12/12 and this poses me a couple of problems. The one I need help and ideas with is that of making and attaching light baffles. Theres a veg box next to the tent and also I need to be in and out of there during the day so light pollution is going to be an issue sad.gif

I'm using a Budbox 1m x 1m x 1.8m(h) and passive intakes only at the moment (the large mesh covered side ones)

I've read the DIY guide on making a light baffle but I'm puzzled g.gif by how it would be attached to the tent. I don't want to permanently modify, puncture or damage the tent in any way no.gif I can't seem to think of anything except velcro 31.gif

Has anyone solved this problem with their own tent or have any useful ideas?

Hi mate

I see what you mean

An intake fan would solve your probs - seal up the vents

Any baffles or air boxes are going to reduce your intake air flow

you cant be the first to suffer this bro

firemontage
cooker hood filter, get 2 or 3 layers of it so its light proof and duct tape it to the side of the tent. it will stop some air flow but probably not enough to cause a problem.
Dutchie
You could also just get some ducting, put the ducting in holes on all sides of the bottom part of the tent, then ur extraction will use them for passive intakes, if u bend the ducting in a specific way light wont get in, since light doesnt go around corners. read that in a post on here but couldn't find it to link it..

That'll do it mate. You can get real sticky wide stuff from ebay.
lazi
Place something between them, piece of cardboard or ply on a stand.

If the light from the passives of the veg tent has to bounce a few times before getting into the bloom tent, it won't do much harm. About half a week longer to flower is all I've noticed since adding a veg tent and that might be coincidence.
Mr. Sparkle
thats what I'm thinking lazi, simple lean-to's and hope wink1.gif
