Here we have a new set up after a pretty disasterous last run, had major PM issues with soil / NFT
New setup includes :
GT604 NFT - (at the back) with 4 x Dinafem DIESEL (fem) - currently been in the tanks for 3 weeks and have fan leaves as large as my head - EC1.2 with CANNA nutes
Oxypot 1 - NL#5 (been around forever gifted by a very good friend) cutting taken from soil mother thats been moved to another location as i can no longer put up with the mess and disease that soil brough on the last run - this one's a great yielder, 8 week finisher on the dot and devastating indica effect, this will always be part of my stable....EC1.2 CANNA nutes, 2 x large airstone in res...
Oxypot 2 - Dinafem DIESEL - Will be kept for a mum, EC1.2 CANNA nutes
WILMA 8 - Brand new system, the whole drip thing is new to me, i've been given 8 cuttings of a strain called S7 (lineage unknown) to try on this run, they've been in the wilma for 5 days now and have grown around 1/2" a day , i've got the flood spikes on 24/7 in clay pebbles and they seem to love this at the moment - EC1.2 with CANNA nutes and ATAMI drip cleaner, 18" Bubble curatin in res -
As far as the rest of the room goes, we've got 1 x 4" intake bringing fresh air to the base of the systems, 1 x 8" extractor and matching carbon filter, 1 x 20" boxed fan on floor and 1 x 16" pedestal fan - we have great negative pressure in the room -
Temps are between 21-29 deg dependent on time of day and humidity is between 20% and 36% again dependent on the time of day - Running on 24/0 for the past couple of weeks, switching to 18/6 to save a bit of cash on the electric this weekend!
lighting is:
1 x 400w lowbay over the 4 x DIESEL in NFT
1 x 600w adjustawing over the 8 x S7 in the WILMA and the Oxypots (soon to be moved to 125w Enviro in mother room)
Will be adding 1 x 1000w Sunmaster when we flip for 12/12, totalling 2KW - will be flipping them at 18" and essentially creating 2 x SCROG with pea netting...
DIESELS are looking very healthy and have that unmistakeable grapefruit smell i so love when you rub the stems, hopefully an indicator of things to come -
S7 looking like a nice ind/sat mix, they've really taken to the 24/7 flood on the drippers so i'm reluctant to change the timing unless its going to make things even better, seem very vigorous so far...
This is my 1st experience with femmed seeds and also using DINAFEM genetics, but i've heard nothing but good things about them from the spanish scene - have previously tried SOMA's NYCD but never found the pheno i was getting in A'dam from the likes of Barney's or Hunters (mmmm grapefruit!) so i'm hoping the CHEM / MASS SS lineage influence in these will help the sought after flavour prevail...
it was a lot of work to rip out and re set up, but it seems as though its been worth it!
