I can't get Hotmail either and on other sites I have to refresh a few times before it works. I've posted something about it as I thought it was my PC, but maybe it's more fundamental than that. Interesting to see what others are experiencing.
Ah, it's loaded Hotmail now.
e2a: are you on Virgin Jimmy? I am.

yup ....
it's interesting, as the DNS servers are obviously working ... just the particular sites are not responding .. first noticed it about 7pm, when Mrs read her hotmail, and tried to click a link in a mail ... just spent forever. I've tried from my laptop and had the same ... oh well

Hmmm, interesting. My PC has been displaying seemingly DNS lookup problems for the last week... maybe I should get in touch with Virgin.
Hope yours is sorted soon Jimmy.

Anyone having trouble with their ISP's DNS servers should try using
OpenDNS.

ICMag and Comodo are up for me here - it might be your ISP's DNS - ¿why not try
OpenDNS? That's what I use.

I'm using OpenDNS but I've still been having problems (though it seems a bit better the last 24 hours). Firefox was just updated and that required a Flash update as well, I'm beginning to think FF might be the culprit. It certainly eats my RAM! Maybe I'll try Google Chrome for a while and see how that goes.
