Grey Area is a tiny place with a huge reputation. It has some of the finest weed anywhere in the known universe and a special vibe. There isn't room for everyone at once though.

It was originally created by two American enthusiasts known as "The Chiefs". Steve is partying out east somewhere now and Jon has a new assistant. It used to close on Mondays but is open all week now.

The shop is a Mecca for American tourists visiting Amsterdam. On the wall is a clock to show that it's always 4:20 and the music is usually old American rock. Glass bongs are available.

They have seating out doors for when its a nice sunny day and many seats indoors, i love the back room nice and dark and chilled

Yo Yo, off the track but near the Depijp (or whatever the name is) market. It has bio and grown in the open weed.

Usual ones: Amnesia, 420. Very commercial and after the beforementioned not so good: greenhouse and barneys.

Get a bicycle as soon as you arrive. Do not think too much about it

Clubs: Paradiso and meelkweg.

Food: wok to walk, foodism and an indian on haarleemstrat.

Guide: Get lost. But be carefull and get the latest edition wich is...the revised 11th.

Museums: rijks, van gogh

No advice mate but fuck it feels good doin what you just done. Few years ago I jacked my job, got my week in hands pay and some holiday pay and jumped on a ferry in hull with a bag with some clean underwear and a roll of cash. Went to the damn and ended up in prague. Just went for a wander round europe. Good times. Enjoy yourself mate

those damn near vertical stairs in the greenhouse at oudebrugsteeg have had the back of my head bounce off every one of them. the real hidden dangers of decriminalisation.

i spent a good 20 minits searchin for my room last time i was there...lost in a maze of corridors and interlocing stairways...,stoned off mi nutt n lovin it....

Snap. . found the same thing when me and the missus was there. Couldn't move for the amount of people in there and its not got the most room to move even with all the floors. Spent most time in the Dolphin and Bulldog as its just down the road to Wok and walk and Burger king
