Hi all, first post so be kind smile.gif I've tried doing a search with no luck so here goes...

I've got 2 buckets in my loft which were connected to an inbuilt compressor / bubbler. In the loft there's not a noise to be heard but once downstairs again it sound like a thunderstorms happening there ( ok slightly over the top but loud enough for people to question if they come and visit ). I've changed the inbuilt bubblers now for a normal compressor that sits outside the tent with the tubes going in but the noise is still there and possibly louder. The noise / vibration definately isn't coming from the compressor as i've undone the tubes while leaving it running, it's coming from the actual bubble stones. I've put thick foam under the stones to try and stop vibration ( if it is vibration ) but this doesn't help. Any ideas would be greatly received.

Thanks.

i had the exact same problem mate, swap the airstones for pourous hose and buy some of them suckers for fish tanks to hold it to the bottom of the buckets

quiet as a mouse now rofl.gif

porous hose is much better aswell mate imo
