I'm new here. I want to build a diy Wilma which incorporates a seperate reservoir as this suits my space better.

My question is:
Should I use a 13mm particle filter for the feed manifold or a 19mm filter for the return pipe?

Im going to be using a MJ1000 if this makes a difference.

Personally I'd put it on the feed manifold to prevent any coco/debris getting into the drippers. Another tip is to put some hydroton around the outlet to further prevent any solids hitting your filter.
