Been looking at the rwdc systems and most of them on here have a feed from res to top of each grow bucket, then a return at the bottom.

I was thinking of just linking each bucket in 'series' or daisy chain' fashion at the bottom only and using a pump in the main res to have a flow through all of them.

I do not see the need for the extra piping for a top feed ? There will be an airstone in each bucket as well to agitate the water and thus all will be flowing and not a stagnant bit at the top.

Whats your views peeps ?

I've a feeling it won't work because of a 'chain effect' where the 1st pods will be filled, but then less and less as the chain goes on.

There must be a reason why existing systems are built the way they are and not like you're proposing.
