Can anybody recommend a strain that could be grown in three months?

I have only a short time that I can grow then it must be packed up.

Is it possible, what would happen if I started in 12/12?
Alternatively I have a load of autos I could start outside now for an extra months veg?

cant really recomend a strain but my grows are always done in 3 months

just veg for 4 weeks and bud for 8

Pyramid seeds tiburan (a superskunkxnorthernlights cross) is ready in 8 weeks or a lil less. Green poison is also looking very fast, not flowered it out before, but it's coming along faster even than the tiburan which i have grown before, so it is a 7 weeker by the looks of it. And ch9 flower is also a 7-8 weeker.

Word to the wise - ime the vast majority of seed vendors line are not stable/inbred/uniform, so you will get variation in your plants. Hybrids in particular can have indica or sativa expressive phenos and a sativa leaning one will take longer to flower.

If I were you I'd go with a feminised pure indica to make sure you get a fast finish (i.e. proper 8 weeks) - and feminised only because it saves you sexing time, but ideally go with regulars.

Where abouts are you? It's a little late for starting outside now in the uk anyway. The plants will start flowering straight away.

As for flowering times, i find most of the feminised seeds i grow are pretty uniform in terms of flowering time. If one pack of 3 or 5 finish in 8 weeks, it's near certain the next pack will too i've found. I can't remember having any variation beyond a week in phenos from these types of seeds. Only in the f2 seeds that i've grown do i see a more pronounced difference.

have you checked the flowering times on the rsc strains?? most of them are long flowering sativas

the lebanese and mazar are 100% indica and supposed to be fairly quick as far as i know

Some growers on the other side of the pond are germinating their seeds,giving them a few days then flicking to 12/12,they get a yield,do a search.

Can you not use cuttings?
In my experience seeds take a little longer to flower if they go straight to 12/12.
I did read somewhere that canna needs to mature before it flowers, perhaps this is the reason why?

Grapefruit x Diesel but I cant say who its by because it will just get deleted for whatever reason. It finishes in 7 weeks and its a cracker.

nirvana's old top 44 if you can get it, some shops still have the seeds in stock, i have a 7 week doublegum pheno but some in the pack are 10-11 weeks. you could try fast blast from afro pips sensi also have an afghani that supposed be around 7 weeks too

done the top44 -very fast (44 weeks of course)-nice plant but not too stronger hit i'm afraid- northern lights would do the job for you

No its not Chimera its a Canadian seedbank but ive mentioned the name a couple other times, not linking it and it gets deleted every time.

try the durban poison from dutch passion, i got one alongside my lemon skunk and the durban has big phat buds, the lemon has a few pistils! goes into flower really fast, and cuttings root in 6 days too!!

that would be 44 DAYS then!!! 44 weeks is nearly a year mate, i could grow 3-4 crops in that time!!

Try Dutch Passion's 'Euforia' From cuttings I am usually through in 12 weeks with 7 weeks flower and av 3.5 oz per plant, its also good smoke

I found Mikado to be quick to flower but not so quick at showing sex. Good quality end product strong and sweet. I think it has sweet pink grapefruit heritage. It is possible you could do them from seed in 12 weeks but 14 would allow them to preflower before going 12/12.

You could but it would take ages to root and go back into veg.

The indica pheno of barneys Sweet Tooth is done in 7-8 weeks, cherry tasting too, i just cropped some.
I also had a pheno of Nirvana's ICE that was done in 7 weeks and also a real hard hitting indica stone.

Problem with fast strains though is that the yield isn't there, which is a shame.

lowryders are meant to be quick, surprised they've not been mentioned already

you can get standard and fems that will go from seed to weed in 12 weeks so why bother with autos? just my thinking anyways!

Mazar is extremely good.... bun one spliff and you've been mazarred mate. proper.

try gigabud g13 labs flowers in 5-6 weeks or sweet thooth from bc bud depot.
or you could just flower any normal strain from seed (as soon as the first tiny sets of leaves arrive)
I have done this before using a drip system and the yeilds were still huge.

First Lady by sensi,,6-7 weeks flowering it says,,its a afghan x pakistani indica,,,that would be ready in 12weeks i think 4/5 week veg and 6/8 week flowering.

iv been looking at green poison from sweet, they say seven weeks, might be worth a punt!!

I was recently in the Sweet shop in Spain (very nice guys!) and i picked up a pack of SAD/Black Jack/Psicodelicia and forgot to get some green poison - realised as soon as I was on the plane back!

ive heard power plant flowers reallly quickly but as for the taste n high :/

i did the snazelberry1 from sol she finishes 45-50days.

I agree, i have not grown top44 but i have smoked it. I bought an ounce and to be honest that was about half ounce to much. The first week i enjoyed smoking it but it got very plain, it dosnt have a hard hit and you seem to need to put alot more in your joints the more you smoke it. I would hate to have jars filled with the stuff and knowing i had that to smoke for a long long time. Northern lights on the other hand does hit very hard and finish fast. NL should be done in 8 weeks and dosnt smell to much when growing, dont let that put you off cos when i open my curing jars the stuff STINKS. Even a couple of joints worth in my pocket get me paranoid if im in my car cos it smells so strong. I would definatly pick NL over top44.

If you need everything down in 12 weeks does that mean there needs to be no trace? If so don't forget to leave one of those weeks for drying. In your situation I'd probably choose a 8 week flower but only give them a week or 2 of veg. That gives you extra time so you don't have to cut them down before they are ready and also time to dry. To make up the yeild I'd get extra seeds. With such a short veg you can pack them in tight and end up with a nice yeild.
