Hi guys ..

my last crop was harvested beginning of August. It spent 10 days drying, until stalks snapped, and has been curing in proper glass curing jars (metal wire fastener with rubber seal) since. Religiously burped for an hour a day, and now I'm breaking into it.

However, all bud I have ever grown (4 1/2 years now - 9-10 harvests) has always needed to be ground twice. The first time it grinds into sticky little balls. I leave those in a jar overnight, and then re-grind next evening. The second grind is always perfect ... nice and fine, almost powdery.

The smoke is always great though !

Is this unusual ? Symptom of something I'm doing wrong ? Or just "one of those things", and I really should get something else to worry about ?

It's probably because it's so sticky with gooey, trichy goodness, especially as compared to pretty much all 'dealer weed'.

yup dense sticky ickyness de stem the buds as much as poss before the grind to make it a little easier

Sounds like some Sticky dank weed Jimmy. Its good when its like that imo. Seems to give a thick, tasty smoke.
