Hi all...

Quick question. Is a small amount of red light likely to interupt the dark cycle during flowering. My power tracks have a red led power indicator which, when the lights are out, make the white socket casing glow like bastard.

I grow only fem'd seeds and i know to my cost that they do love to throw a wobbler and put out male/hermie flowers at the drop of a hat so i am trying to reduce the risk.

peace.

thanks for the quick replies! cheers guys

Way ahead of you on the tape. i have had two layers over the bit where the light is since day one, it's the glowing case i wasn't expecting russian.gif

It's my first run in this grow space so i am trying to get the fine details sorted. cool to know that it's probably not detrimental though.

what i always do if theres a red power light on anything in my grow room then if i cant take it apart to get to the bulb then i just stick a screwdriver through it, whith it unplugged obviously wink.gif

and yes the light is enough to mess about flowering and giving you a few hermies, i know from experience sad.gif

all the best fella yinyang.gif

As poacher said just take the thing apart and disconnect the led/bulb to be on the safe side.
