i have started a diary in the main forum but not getting much interest so i though i would try here as i think i need some help,


here is a quick rundown,

---250w hps----

i was expecting my light to turn up so i cracked my seeds, however my light didnt turn up for another 3/4 weeks so i had a lot of cress growing ,
since having the light i lost a few as the stem just shrivaled, been under the light now for about 3 weeks

all together 18 seeds planted, 12 lebanease & 6 Mazar-i-Sharif

6 straight in soil -- all have split 2 are above soil 1 already an inch tall
6 in cup of water -- 2 split, all now been planted in propergator, (today)
6 in damp tissue -- all split, now in propergator (today)

yesterday all my lebs were looking worse than the 1 above so i have added an extra fan blowing around them that i leave on 24/7 and that seems to be doing the trick,

and i swear they have doubled in ize ,

will get some more pics soon,

i only repotted them just over a week ago into 6ltr pots and already the roots are coming out the bottom, Should i repot them again into 20ltr already?
i think they are ready to go into flower due to the size of them,

[One of mine did this about a week after potting up into 6.5 lts pots as well mate but I am leaving it in the pot for longer as I should'nt have thought they need a new pot a week? Also when I potted up from the 5" pot even though roots where showing out the bottom I think it could have ben left longer in the 5" pot, hence why I have only put one into a 6.5 litre pot. I think you should leave it for a bit longer yet mate Like you said its a quiet grow diary, I just saw some tumble weed blow past , I think everybody is on the trolling posts.

i have just been to check on them and the roots seem well formed, i remember reading the lebs roots grow like mad,

my maraz are now approw 17 / 23 inch

and my lebs are just over a foot tall, the leaves on these are massive

That is some severe leaf curl you have got going their mate have you got a fan under that reflector blowing the hot air away from the plants? Might be worth you typing leaf curl into the search bar to see what causes it? I think it is either heat or wind burn? Those Maraz are looking great and healthy mate

since adding the extra fan they have got a lot better, they were all worse than that yesterday, (lebs)

but yes the maraz seem like they loving it,

i have just repotted 2 of the lebs into 20ltr pots,
i started with the smallest leb and the roots were everywhere and bright white, looked really cool , so i done another, will do the last leb in a bit and probably the maraz tomorrow as i am thinking of starting them into flower sooner than i thought

the leaf curling is deffo heat stress.

if it dosent keep clearing up i will have to add an extra fan blowing just below the light but fingers crossed

just repotted my last leb, will take some pics tomorrow,

all 3 lebs now in 20ltr pots

the maraz will have to wait till tomorrow as i need more soil

be interesting to see how well the lebs yield in a 20litre pot.

Cool 20 litre pots will breed monsters just hope they do not turn out males. I am waiting until sexing before I consider my 11 ltr pots for any of my lebs, but I think I will stick my Blue Cheese and White Widow x Bigbud in the 11 ltr pots.

just been to check on them and it looks like the transplant has gone ok as they seem happy,

as for monsters some of the leaves are massive, looks almost abnormal ,

just re-potted my maraz into 20ltr pots,

lebanease = 2 @ 16inch 1 @24inch

maraz = 21inch, 26inch and 29inch,
on 1 of my maraz the stem is litrially an inch wide , looks a monster but still dont know the sex of any

that is the last pic,

all the pics were taken yesterday, they seem a lot more bushy today and as you can see the leaf curl is clearing up nicely

no that is one of the plants that couldnt take the light so the stem just shrivaled

hmmm... the light intensity at 2000m on the Mount Lebanon Range is going to be totally off the scale compared to just a 400W HPS... wonder what really made it die... maybe just not happy with the type of light it is getting, maybe it got water on it while under the light... either way, as this is the first generation to go indoors I guess it will take time to find the plants which are happy with these new conditions - they are there in the genepool though

well i dodnt have my light for about 3 weeks so all my plants ended up like cress so when i put them under the light the stem just couldnt take it, and i also had a heat issue at the start but that is now sorted and what is left seem happy in there current conditions,

( 250w hps so not a lot of light at all compared to what they are used to )

will get some more pics tonight when lights are back on,

yeh that male got some bollox on him.

its a shame as it a good size aswell,

will be making room tonight when lights are back on

just been checking over them i have 2 leb males that i have now taken out the room, left me with 1 leb Female (1 more than none )

as for the maraz, i have 1 female for sure but still dont know about the other 2

should i take cuttings now i konw what females i have?

Hi mate, looking good and congrats on the females. You should really take cuttings before switching to 12/12 and mark them up so you know which plant it came from, you can then bin any males and their corresponding cuttings. The less you do to them in flower the better really as a rule but you're only a few days in so you'll probably be ok. Good luck with the rest of the grow mate.

Have you got any close up's of the 2 you're not sure of yet?

all the male lebs have been bagged ready for the bin (will put others in first)
when i repotted m,y plants i didnt have room for 2 of the lebs so they have just been sat on the side, 1 of them is already showing pre-flowers and is Female (just a bit stretched due to lack of light , other 1 i think is male,

when the lights come back on tonight i will take some more pics,

as for the maraz, i have 2 definate females, but still 1 that i am still not sure about but think it a male,
i have had to tie down the 1 female as its just huge , now all the extra branches that dont usually get much light are now shooting up
