Anyone here using the Atomix system. I'm using Dutch Master platinum nutes and I keep getting a build up of hard salts on my nozzle jets. Anyone having better luck with other nutes? G-love had brilliant grows with these systems and he was using canna substra but I understand this is no longer available. Where is g-love by the way?
Geo
Canna changed the name from substra to hydro vega/flores.

Thanks Geo. g-love was a highly experienced grower and I seem to recall he had some doubts that the re named product was the same as substra. Not growing in Atomix by any chance are you?

Hi Geo. Did you recently post your 'homebrew' timer on another thread?
Geo
I had to homebrew the timer so i`m definitely too poor to be running an atomix wink.gif
I don`t know if they reformulated it but being run-to-waste its similar to substra in that respect.

I have to find something different to the DM stuff I'm using so I'll probably give it a try. The atomix was paid for by my bro in law. he has a dodgy back, so does his mum and so do I. This is first grow so we're all keeping our fingers crossed. I was interested in your timer as a possible replacement in case the atomix one packs up. Yours looks a fine job and has the timing steps needed for the atomix system. The reason for my concern is that at present I can't get any response from atomix and if anything goes wrong with my system I'd be in the shineola.
Geo
I don`t see the atomix timer packing up, it retails at £175 so it should be top notch.
If you follow G-Love`s very detailed atomix diaries to the letter i`m sure you`ll do great.

The G-Love diaries are a master class. You can bet I'll be following them, or trying to at least. The Atomix web site has shut down now so some people might be in trouble if they need spare parts. When my present grow is finished I might have a go at building my own aero system. If I do I'll be needing a timer.
